How to Get the Most Out of Volt:
• Check out the eciency gauge. It features
a spinning ball that helps guide you to
drive more eciently. Try to keep the
spinning ball green and in the center of
the gauge for optimal eciency.
• Volt oers three driving modes – Normal is
best for everyday driving.
• Control your temperature settings. You’ll
get the most eciency with the heat, air
conditioning and fan turned o. There are
also three climate modes to choose from:
Fan Only (most ecient), Eco and Comfort.
• Check the center screen at the end
of your drive to see how eciently
you were driving. The screen gives you
feedback on your driving style and
climate-setting efficiencies.

The Volt design treats power very preciously, using

Fuel Max tires. These specialized Goodyear tires
are classified as low-rolling resistance tires — which
means friction is reduced between the tires and the
road surface. They allow Volt to get up to one more
all-electric mile when compared to ordinary tires.
Another energy-saving innovation is the Bose® Energy
Efficient Series speaker system. Thanks to advanced
technology, the system is 30% smaller, 40% lighter
and uses 50% less energy than comparable Bose
systems. And it still delivers 100% premium sound.
